This week we go over mindset training reminders you can take with you this Winter Season.
The Yin comes from Within…
It is all on you. No pill, no diet, no Qigong move can help you truly dip into the Yin. This is a practice that is needed for balanced health and if we don’t come into stillness, then the body will INSIST that you take a break. Translate the Yin as the parasympathetic nervous system and you’ll see all the health benefits ranging from digestion, sleep, clear thinking, proper behavioral responses and healing take action during the Yin.
Watching the Clouds
Watching slow movement can actually still your mind, slow your breathing rhythm and calm the nervous system. As my son will pout “it’s BORING” and my response is “Good!”. We need to slow down and get uncomfortable with out inner thought. Seeing, acknowledging and letting it go. I remind you of passing clouds to not only inspire you but to use the clouds as a reminder for stillness, letting go and restoration of the mind, body and mood!
