Transitioning into Spring

This week we discuss how to find the moment between the moments. Transitioning is important to the Yin Yang Principle.

The Pause

Ideally, we don’t jump out of bed when we wake up from a night’s slumber. Nor do we go from NO movement to activity without some warm up preparation, specifically sensory awareness. (My Bamboo buddies know better!) Even during a meal, we’ve been preparing ourselves for digestion by preparing, smelling and maybe even tasting the food before we dine. So when it comes to our seasonal transition, we can reflect on how we receive these moment in between and understand our habits and understand of THE PAUSE.

How pausing make a difference?

When we learn to see the moment’s in between, we enjoy the present so much more. It’s never about the destination as it is the journey. That’s the pause we can take to see where we are currently. And in that lesson of time, we can begin to see we have a LOT more time on our hands than we think. This is where I try to bring my clients and students to see so you can apply TINY golden nuggets that help you transition into the next meal, movement, routine and/or season. It gives you time to breathe, to become aware of your posture, realize you’re looking at your phone (again!), or understanding that your mind is racing without stop. So take that time to find the pauses.
