How do you use the floor?
This week let’s go over the 90-90 Squats, a simple way to move the hips and use the floor.
Go at your own pace
This technique is being used more and more to help people with hip issues. It also moves the sacroiliac joints as you shift your weight from side to side. This may seem like a ‘young persons’ exercise but it’s a great check in to see where you are with hip & pelvic mobility and for those who find it easy, building strength within this exercise for stability.
Bolster Up!
So often when we realize we cannot do an exercise a specific way, we relinquish from the notion of ‘figuring it out’ so YOU CAN perform the drill. You can try this on a chair, on an ottoman, with pillows and towels or even in bed. Don’t let ‘I can’t” stop you from “I’ll try” by getting creative and not getting frustrated.
